Commit2Care’s live-in care service allows you to both continue living in your own home, as independently as possible with the support of a live-in carer and enjoy your local community, with the peace of mind that all of your care needs are being taken care of for you, giving you maximum flexibility, choice and control over your life. Within the freedom and safety of your own home, you’ll enjoy one-to-one support from a conscientious, friendly and fully trained Care Worker. You’ll be able to relax, knowing that there is someone there for you, seven days a week, available whenever you need them, but out of your way when you don’t. They can help with your housework, personal care and shopping, or simply provide good company.
Our managed Live-in care is a complete, holistic and affordable alternative to residential care. It means having a carefully selected carer to stay with you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide any care and assistance required in the comfort of your home and providing all the benefits of residential care Whilst remaining in their own home, your relative not only benefits from being in their community with their friends but will receive one-to-one care and companionship 24/7, surrounded by your home comforts and memories, with a one to one level of care that is not available in most residential homes.

Live-in carers carry out the full range of personal care and domestic tasks while providing companionship and day-to-day support. These include, but are not limited to:
- Dressing and undressing
- Washing and bathing
- Incontinence care
- Preparing meals and monitoring nutrition and weight
- Security and safety
- Medication – collection and administering
- Housework and laundry
- Shopping and taking to appointments
- Assisting with pet care
Reliable, trained Care Worker
All our Care Workers are thoroughly vetted before they start working for us, and their comprehensive training includes at least seven specific courses that they must pass. After that, they attend annual refresher courses to maintain standards and help them to develop their skills and abilities. Before your care begins, we will set up a personal support plan with you, detailing what kind of care and support you need and what your preferences are.
You will have more than one personal Care Worker to allow them time off, and they will be regularly monitored to make sure they always give the high standard of care that you expect and deserve. You will also have a designated Field Care Supervisor who will review your care satisfaction with you and will be on hand 24 hours a day in case of emergencies.
We will match your Care Workers to your needs. They will respect your dignity, beliefs and freedom of choice, and you will always be able to change any individual that you don’t feel compatible with for any reason. That happens occasionally to clients, and since you will spend a lot of time together, we regard it as paramount that you feel entirely comfortable with your Care Workers.
